Cindy Jardine

Dr. Cindy Jardine is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Health and Community at the University of the Fraser Valley.  She has more than 20 years of experience conducting research in the area of health risk communication.  Her specific focus is on developing more effective dialogue around risks through a better understanding of risk issues, concerns and information needs for different populations.  Much of her work is done in partnership with Indigenous and newcomer populations.   Dr. Jardine is the former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Qualitative Methods and a former Fulbright Scholar.
